Carol Schram: Brock Boeser lone bright light as Vancouver Canucks downed by the Jets Brock Boeser scored his 16th of the year but also put a scare into Canucks fans when he went down heavily after blocking a shot during Vancouver's 5-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.

I believe it was yesterday that they said probably sometime next week? Sutter should be back first, I think.

I'm not confident about the canucks winning ANY of their next 10 games.

Maybe Chicago..... They suck.

NHL has too much parity. They'll at least grab a loser point or 2 and probably upset a team or 2 as well.

Hope when Gudbranson returns they start rotating our 2 AHL defensemen, Hutton and Stecher, in and out of lineup.
For that matter it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Edler sit out a few.

Thanks Carol it is tougher for TG to get fixes when their last practice was Friday and likely none scheduled with playing every other day coming up.

The new players don't know his system well enough and spend a lot of energy trying to fit in. There are many now because of injury that are not familiar with each other.

There isn't even an energy advantage of adrenalin rush from new players being in the line up. Just a mitigate mistakes and being on heels when things go wrong. The aggressive pushing the pace hockey style seen earlier is missing or not sustained as games progress.

There's that and that the team is devoid of talent, there is little to no depth on the farm, has 2 back-up goaltenders and half of the defense should be playing in Utica.
